I keep hearing these ticking sounds !
Dull but poignant in the background-
The penultimate clock ticks...
Of many Time Bombs -
Planted all around me ... !
Is it only - Me ?
Or - You too ?
Or S/he ? They..??
And ALL of Us ...???
Are we really listening ...?
The cringed cries of the Humans... ?
That we are letting to get diminished
Day by day - everyday ...
To the vanishing point !
The Master Planners', the Powerful Architects'
Perspectives of the Future...
That they are designing for us...!!!
Are we really listening ...?
The silent sobs of the Rivers... ?
... The Hills ? ...The Forests...?
That we ALL are killing together ...!!!
The Time Bombs to explode
In not so distant future ...
Those we planted ourselves ...
All around us ...
The alarm clocks have already
Started ticking ...
Time and Nature will take toll on us... Soon... !
Can you hear the penultimate ticks ...?
Or is it just the stupid paranoid me ...?
